It is time to put YOU first for the good of others

Self Care as the Foundation of Your Business

You know you're brilliant at what you do. You pour your heart into your work, your clients, your vision. But somewhere along the way, you've slipped to the bottom of your own list. Sound familiar?

I see you. Purpose led people like you, intuitive, driven, soulful find themselves juggling everything, feeling stuck, wondering why they're exhausted. You know deep down that you can't keep giving from an empty cup. Self care isn't a luxury; it's the foundation that lets everything else work.

I've lived this. Years ago, I was that cautionary tale. Hustling hard, second guessing every move, burning out because I thought that's what success demanded. I'd push through exhaustion, ignore my energy dipping, convince myself I'd rest 'later', but later never came.

My wake up call as a single mama with very little support, was realising I couldn't grow a business I loved if I was running myself into the ground. That's when everything shifted. I started bridging the gap between being and doing, between honouring my intuition and building structure that actually supported me.  No matter how long it took!

I realised how important it was to Get Ready to Rise each day!

You're here because you want your business to feel easeful and aligned, not like a constant uphill climb. You crave focus, momentum, and consistency that doesn't leave you drained. But the truth is, none of that happens if you're not prioritising yourself.

Self care in business isn't bubble baths and candles. It's about intentional choices that protect your energy, sharpen your focus, and let you show up as the grounded, powerful being you are.

Why You Keep Putting Yourself Last

You're juggling countless tasks. Client work, emails, ideas you scribble down at 2am. It feels like if you stop, everything will collapse. You tell yourself you'll rest when the next project's done, when the income's steady, when you've 'earned' it. But that finish line keeps moving.

Perhaps you feel guilty for pausing, like you're letting someone down. Or maybe you're stuck thinking self care is selfish when you've got a purpose to serve.

Putting yourself last doesn't make you noble; it makes you tired. And a tired you can't serve at your best. Your business needs you, your clarity, your spark, your intuition. When you're overwhelmed and running on fumes, that brilliance dims.

Structure with Soul

I'm not here with a one size fits all solution. You're not wired for rigid systems that box you in. I get that. You resist them because they feel suffocating, but you secretly crave structure because you know it could help. Let's find your rhythm instead. Something practical, grounded, and built around how you actually live.

Start small. What's one thing you can do today to refill your cup? Maybe it's ten minutes of quiet with your tea before the day kicks off. Maybe it's saying no to that extra call that's crowding your week. For me, it's my early mornings.  If I am able (able being the keyword because believe it or not, we are NOT machines) I will go to the beach and watch the sunrise to give myself time to breathe, think, and set my energy before I dive in to parenting and work.

But that is ME, and we are all wonderfully unique!

Look at your energy. You're intuitive. You know when you're at your best. Lean into that. Plan your deep work for when you're sharp, not when you're dragging. Block off time to rest before you hit empty. This isn't self punishment; it's self discipline with compassion. It's structure with soul. Rules that bend to fit your life, not the other way around.

The Ripple Effect

When you put yourself first, everything gets clearer. Those endless tasks? You'll see what truly matters and what can wait. That overwhelm? It softens when you're not running on empty. Your business doesn't just survive, it grows, sustainably, because you're showing up with focus and intention. This gets to feel good and work.

You don't need to have it all figured out or fix everything overnight. But you deserve to feel supported. By me, by a plan, by a rhythm that honours who you are.

Let's walk this path together. What's one small step you can take today to put yourself back on the list? I'm here, beside you, holding you accountable with kindness and a firm nudge when you need it. Because you're worth it and your business will thank you for it.

With love,
